BAPRAS x PLASTA UK x PRASSA UK National Webinar Series: Lower Limb Surgery with Mr David Wallace

I am a Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at UHCW Major Trauma Centre with an interest in the management of patients with major trauma, limb threatening trauma & salvage challenges, maximising function for patients with an amputation ( & skin cancer). I trained at St Georges Hospital Medical School, spent my early surgical training in London, then moved to the West Midlands rotation and spent 6 years as a trainee then Locum Consultant (2012) at the Queen Elizabeth caring for the Very Seriously Injured. After Birmingham I was appointed at Addenbrookes (2013) at the start of their Major Trauma Centre to focus on orthoplastic management, then moved to Coventry in 2015. Currently I chair the Major Trauma governance committee for our region and the Major Trauma Specialist Interest Group for Plastic Surgery (BAPRAS) nationally.

I deliver teaching across the country for colleagues from medical students through to consultants.
